A Masterclass with the actor, legend, human being and teacher NASEERUDDIN SHAH. Celebrating 20th July, as the birthday of the legend, a humble gift from the NOMADS archive, 2017. Conducted as part of the Film Appreciation course specially designed by mii for the final year batch of the National School of Drama students, hosted by FTII in 2017. It was gracious of Naseer sa'b to accept the invite. Am glad we could make a record of the historic moment, in spite of the human challenges and bureaucratic hurdles involved. Mii gratitude to mii wonderful students Sandeep Yadav & Satyajeet Shobha Shriram for being a sport! Thanks are also due to the then Director Bhupendra Kainthola. I have tried to preserve the essence of the whole through the edit. Collaborative acts often always have their rich rewards. We now have, what is- an invaluable archive of the moment, to be accessed many times over, for students and practitioners and all who care to learn anew every day of our life and work.
