received the original unit new as a gift december of 2020, since on my 4th one by exchanging with the local store. all develop the same symptom, after some light home usage, the compressor cannot refill until drained, motor seems to bind up. I have reported to the store managers that their stock in the racks is laid on its side, and the box clearly states do not lay on side, not sure if that matters. i use to air up tires and the blow nozzle - that's it. there is apparently a problem with this product line. garage kept, never been on an extension cord. at the beginning of the video i had just drained the tank for it to be able to fill, so the video starts during first fill from empty for the day.
