Episode 5 of my SOBO thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail takes me through 98 miles of Washington wilderness! We hike together from Snoqualmie Pass to White Pass. I try to avoid norovirus and get to see many stunning views of Mount Rainier! A heat wave hits and I have to figure out how to stay hydrated, while avoiding the water sources with potential norovirus contamination. It proves to be challenging!
