Acrylic Paint Brand Comparison. Comparing Liquitex, Winsor & Newton, Golden and DecoArt acrylics.

In this short six minute art video I compare side-by-side Liquitex Basics #acrylicpaint, Windsor and Newton, Golden Heavy Body acrylic paint, and DecoArt Americana. Comparing their color as is, their opacity, their ability to cover a black circle (opacity) as well as a detailed design and finally their ability to create and maintain a texture. Additionally I cover price per tube, consistency of the paint and final sheen. Very basic video comparing the four paints as this is a question I get a lot, in hopes that this will help if you've ever been standing in the paint isle wondering which brand to buy. Art Isle help :) In my opinion, Golden is the best of the paints tested. Followed by Liquitex Basics, Winsor & Newton and finally DecoArt. I generally only use DecoArt for my under painting and super fine detail so was surprised at the difference in color. If you'd like to see a more detailed video let me know in the comments.
