SHIMANO SPHEROS SW TORTURE TEST & REVIEW

We got our hands on some of the new (at the time) Shimano Spheros SW Combos and shipped them down to Tropic Star Lodge in Panama to torture test them at the 2022 Inshore Seminar School this past March. We chose the 8000 size reel paired with the Spheros 7' Heavy Power Rod that it's matched with and spooled up the reels with 65lb Power Pro Braid. They were used for casting and trolling Current Sniper 170 Jerks for a wide range of species up to almost 100 lbs and we just checked in again with the lodge and wanted to give you all an update as to how they performed and are performing after living in the salt and being put to the test for months on end. #FishShimano #SpherosSW #saltwaterfishing #TortureTest
