X Plane 11 Tutorial 2 : Carenado King Air B200 Taxi and Takeoff

In this tutorial we look at taxi and takeoff in the Carenado King Air B200. It's important to note that aircraft performance is expected to change after the release of X-Plane 11. There are known issues with beta. And because of that certain gauges, etc., might not perform as they do in this video. Correct performance is explained in places where incorrect performance is currently exhibited. Also note that X-Plane 11 does not restore all switches when loading saved situations, therefore, for example, auto ignition switches are not armed later in the video. I would also note that the aircraft squirms a bit during the takeoff run. I'm not sure whether that's an issue with the aircraft, my twitchy throttle quadrant, or both. But even with rudder boost turned on I found it hard to keep it straight. YMMV. And as a final note, this procedure is valid only when not using ATC. In a future video I'll explain an amended ATC friendly checklist. Maximum taxi speed is 25 knots. Maximum taxi speed in a turn is 16 knots. Climb at 1,800 fpm.
