Peak District - Return to Derwent Edge

On my last camp the subject of Derwent Edge cropped up and it dawned upon me that I hadn't camped up there this year. So with the weather looing favourable, I decided to rectify the situation. Joining me on this camp was Michael from @airlessmean. Together we made our way up the hill and on towards our campsite for the evening. We choose an excellent spot with nice wind shelter, great views and the more discrete locations of the several to pick from. I enjoyed a few beers, a tasty filling Curry and a few laughs. After that, I settled down for some sleep. In the morning, I awoke to some dry warm, pleasant weather. I then made myself a brew, drank it, got up and started to pack my kit away. I enjoyed the morning views along the way as I walked back to the car. Yet again this was a really great camp. It was good to get out of the house and back into the countryside.👍🙂
