Perhaps we'll meet at Tycho... This one was, as expected, pretty difficult. I had tried my hand at covering Moon Waltz a good few years ago (probably late 2021 or early 2022), but yeah looking back on it, this might be the biggest improvement between a demo and a final version. I mean, the demo didn't even have drums or guitars, which is insane. Though I'm not exactly proud of the demo, I'm okay with releasing it for archival purposes or something I guess, I'd prefer releasing it over it sitting in my Soundtrap account collecting dust lol Anyway, I had a lot of fun with it. Just like Aristotle's Denial, I had to go almost entirely by ear, which actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Although yeah I had a lot more to go off of with Moon Waltz than Aristotle's Denial lol. The drums have a repeating pattern that, while complicated, doesn't change much throughout the song. The orchestra parts are all made with the orchestral instruments from Bandlab, which were cool to mess around with, especially the Concert Hall Trumpet. Although I wish I could have done the slow increase in tempo before the final chorus, but unfortunately none of the music making programs I use allow for that. Still, it works enough. As for the visuals, everything is taken directly from the official music video, which you might not have known existed! It's unlisted on Bora's channel, but accessible through the LaBoratory website.
