The new Jeep Avenger will appeal to people with an active lifestyle who are looking for a powerful and fresh design with compact dimensions and a spacious interior. The 400 volt electric motor is the first from Emotors, a joint venture between Stellantis and Nidec Leroy-Somer Holding. It delivers 115 kilowatts (156 hp) of power and a maximum torque of 260 Newton meters with a gear reduction of 8.69. The new battery, also manufactured by Stellantis, has a capacity of 54 kilowatt hours and offers high energy density and an excellent ratio between nominal power and usable energy (51 kilowatt hours). It consists of 17 modules and 102 cells with the lithium-ion chemistry NMC 811 and ensures a range of 394 kilometers in the combined WLTP cycle, up to 550 kilometers in the WLTP city cycle. The Jeep Avenger can be charged particularly quickly using a mode 4 cable with 100 kilowatts of direct current at a public fast charging station. For example, three minutes of charging is enough for a driving distance of 30 kilometers, in 24 minutes the battery is charged from 20 to 80 percent. With a mode 3 cable for 11 kilowatts of alternating current, an empty battery can be fully charged in 5.5 hours at a wall box or a public station. A cornerstone of every Jeep SUV is its capability, which the Avenger offers a more efficient approach thanks to electric propulsion. The new Avenger is the first front-wheel drive Jeep to include standard Selec Terrain and Hill Descent Assist on all trim levels. In addition, very large approach angles and high ground clearance contribute to the exceptional performance in the segment. The Selec Terrain system offers six modes: "Normal" for everyday rides, "Eco" to increase range, "Sport" for more driving pleasure, "Snow" for maximum traction, "Mud" to optimize and improve performance in mud traction and "sand" to limit the risk of getting stuck on sandy ground. The vehicle's architecture achieves the highest possible level of compactness without compromising the distinctive characteristics of the Jeep brand. The new Avenger is only 4.08 meters long, making it 16 centimeters shorter than the Renegade. The short front and rear overhangs emphasize its proportions, while large wheels reinforce its presence on the road more than one would expect from a vehicle of this compact size. Thanks to the combination of short overhangs and large wheels, the Avenger offers the highest ground clearance in the segment at 200 millimeters as well as excellent departure angles of 20 degrees at the front and 32 degrees at the rear and a ramp angle of 20 degrees. The Avenger shows a modern interpretation of the Jeep design in compact dimensions. At the front, the iconic seven-slot grille acts as an authentic visual mark of the Jeep brand. The curved grille is positioned in front of the headlights to protect them in an accident. Another classic Jeep design element, the sweeping fenders offer a sense of strength and ruggedness while maintaining an impressive presence. The side view is determined by the trapezoidal wheel arches, which ensure maximum vertical freedom of movement for the wheels. The sideline design improves aerodynamics and gives the impression of dynamism together with the floating and forward-leaning C-pillar, also visible on other new Jeep models. Finally, at the rear is another classic Jeep brand theme: X-style taillights reminiscent of a military gas can. The "X" graphic on the taillights, already familiar from the Renegade and Wrangler, has been reinterpreted to become the distinctive feature of the Avenger. #jeep #avenger
