She's finally here! I've been wanting to record this cover for so gotdang long, the amount of recording attempts I've made are probably enough for a full length indie festival film, but I want to work harder when it comes to vocals and just, sing. There's a lot of fear that revolves around singing for me, and I want to do my best to let go of those thoughts and insecurities, so why not do them with a cover!! Since it was my first, it's pretty rough around the edges, so I do apologize for that, but I hope you can appreciate it all the same! I know it's shorter than the original, but I didn't want to keep sitting on recording after recording, so I just full sent it LOL Illustration-wise, there was a vibe of delicacy and romance I wanted to communicate, so I hope that came through! I used one of the album covers from Macross Frontier because for one, Sheryl's really pretty, but also whenever I think of anything anime AND singing related from way back when, I think of her. So why not pay homage for my first cover! I also did the video editing, and while I consider editing a strong point of mine, doing lyric/simpler videos like this are a huge struggle for me, but I hope it worked for this song!! Regardless, I hope you enjoyed this cover, and I'm excited to release more in the future!!
