Hi all, thanks for checking out this video on how I installed some genuine Kawasaki front brake pads onto my 2018 Kawasaki Z1000SX. The weather was beautiful this Easter weekend, but I cannot ride as I tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday evening :( gutted doesn't come close to describing it… I was really looking forward to a full weekend of riding and a few hundred miles for sure! I'm happy in a way though as this meant I could potter round and sort a few of those ever present "smaller jobs" that never seem to get done, this is one of them… to be honest though - I was so tired afterwards... damn this cover crap really sucks :( I'm hoping for much love and support from you al out there :) Hope you are all safe and well... My bike has covered about 11,500 miles so I've done well to get this much life from my front pads, the last service suggested they were wearing low so I got a set of genuine Kawasaki pads from P&H Motorcycles in Crawley and fitted them. keep in mind, I'm no expert, this video is meant as a record of what I did, if you have any concerns or doubts about the process, get your local bike shop to install them for you as you can't gamble with safety!
