A quick little experiment to try and make it easier for me to get the water out of the rain barrels & into the garden. An update: Well, the siphon system here DOES work, but not as efficiently as I was hoping it would. Several factors contributing to this are, not much drop from the barrels to the garden, several leaks in the hoses running to the garden, lowered water levels in the barrels, etc.. What I will likely do is install a faucet in the bottom of one of the barrels when the level gets to the bottom (so I don't lose too much of what water I have) as well as get a better hose.
