PROGRAMME: Johann-Sebastian BACH (1685 – 1750) : Ricercare a six BWV 1079 Johann-Sebastian BACH / Charles-Marie WIDOR (1844 – 1937) : Marche du Veilleur de nuit Mattheus Final (Extrait de « Memento Bach ») Louis VIERNE (1870 – 1937) : Pièces de Fantaisie (deuxième suite, op. 53) : Hymne au Soleil Feux follets Clair de lune Toccata Olivier LATRY (1962 - ) : Improvisation Charles-Marie WIDOR (1844 – 1937) : Toccata (from Symphony No.5, op.42) The new Grand Organ (IV/53) at Our Lady of Victories is by Anton SKRABL, and was completed in 2022. It is built and voiced in the French Symphonic style. The design process was overseen by Timothy Macklin, assisted by David Bednall, in collaboration with SKRABL.
