Hangry Loch Arkaig Osprey chick throws a massive strop and attacks Dorcha 15 Jun 2023 (quick-time)

Thanks to Woodland Trust from whose livestream I took this clip. Check out their live camera supported by players of People's Postcode Lottery at https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/ospreys This clip shows the chick throwing a massive strop and attacking mum Dorcha at 14.36. He's probably 'hangry' as it's been several minutes since the last feed! 2022 season: Louis and Dorcha returned to Nest Two on 12th April, laid three eggs on 24 and 27th April, and 1st May. The first chick hatched on 31st May, the second on Jubilee Day 2nd June and the third on 5th June. Sadly the third chick passed away on 12th June. The other two progressed rapidly and were ringed LW5 (eldest ) and LW6 (younger) on 12th July, and gender assessed as both being female. They were named Willow (LW5) and Sarafina (LW6), and fledged on 25th and 31st July respectively. Dorcha was last seen on the nest on 18th August, Willow on 28th August, Louis on 8th September and Sarafina on 9th September. Louis is a father of ten, six with Aila (2017-2020), and four with Dorcha.
