Maps can of many different kinds such as Physical, Political, Terrain, Thematic,Satellite etc. There are several regions in the world. The dark green colour areas are the rainforests🌳🌴🌳.The lighter green areas are grasslands 🌄. The orange or red regions are arid & semi arid regions 🍂.The yellow regions are the deserts 🏜️ The blue regions are seas & oceans 🌊. And the white areas are ice caps ❄️ In Terrain maps, we can also identify the rivers, 🏞️ lakes, and most probably, the hills ⛰️ & mountains.🏔️ Earth is a sphere so it also has a diameter which is called the Equator that divides the Earth into 2 halves or hemispheres.🌎🌍🌏 Earth has Latitudes (From East to West) & Longitudes (From North to South).🌐 The uppermost region is called North Pole & the lowermost region is called South Pole. The poles are the coldest🥶 region of the Earth.❄️ The Equatorial regions are always hot🥵 and sometimes heavy rainfall 🌧️ occurs there which gives rise to Rainforests. 🌳🌴🌳 Beaches occurs in the Coastal regions. 🏖️ ⛱️ A book of maps is called Atlas. 🗺️
