This video aims to describe the physical geography of the beautiful Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh in India. Watch the video about Uttarakhand here: • The Geography of Uttarakhand Himachal Pradesh sits on the section of Indian Himalayas which divides the two largest river basins in South Asia, Indus and Ganga, and serves as a meeting point for several ranges like Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal and Zanskar with Greater and lesser Himalayan ranges. This video describes the state in two major ways, using its mountain ranges, and using its rivers and their basins. It might get complex, but, as always, enjoy! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits: Thankyou very much to: Harish Kapadia, renowned author and mountaineer for helping with a bit of research. https://www.harishkapadia.com/ Shashank Rawat for beautiful drone shots / myflyingguide Dr. Gagandeep Hothi for the beautiful sitar music, and a couple of pictures / gaganhothi Mehak for helping with pronunciations / pav_batata Tanuj Shokta for pictures / _.tanuj._ Himani Bisht for pictures / cosmic_chaos101 Prof. M.P.S.
