2017 UQ Architecture lecture: Jeremy McLeod

On Tuesday 4 April 2017, APDL in partnership with the University of Queensland School of Architecture hosted the 2017 UQ Architecture lecture series with Jeremy McLeod of Breathe Architecture (Melbourne). Breathe Architecture has been focusing on sustainable urbanisation and in particular have been investigating how to deliver more affordable urban housing to Melbournians. Breathe were the instigators of The Commons housing project in Brunswick and now are collaborating with other Melbourne Architects to deliver the Nightingale Model. Nightingale is intended to be an open source-housing model led by architects. Jeremy believes that architects, through collaboration, can drive real positive change in Australian cities. The event was held at State Library of Queensland Auditorium 1 with an audience of approximately 270 people.
