Enrolling at ADFA offers a professional career with a university degree by combining military and leadership training with a fully recognised degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Or, if you've already started a university degree in disciplines such as Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing or Allied Health you can apply for the Defence University Sponsorship. We'll pay for you to continue your education, with a career in the ADF upon completion of your degree. Work part-time as a reservist If you are interested in joining the Australian Defence Force but are unable to make a full-time commitment, or you want to try it out first, the Naval, Army and Air Force Reserves are a great option for you. As there are ADF Reserve positions available throughout Australia, you won't have to travel too far from home to be a part of the action. Get paid while we train you to become skilled technicians and tradespeople that look after every piece of equipment, from ships, jets and tanks, through to missile systems.
