Join us as we continue our European adventure with a moving and memorable visit to the British Normandy Memorial at Ver-Sur-Mer. We pay our respects to the brave soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifice by laying a Poppy Cross at this beautiful and solemn site. Next we head to the iconic Pegasus bridge, a pivotal site in the D-Day landings. We stop for lunch at the Pegasus Cafe which holds the honour of being the first building. liberated on D-Day, soaking in the rich history that surrounds us. We conclude this leg of our journey with a serene park up along the River Seine at Mailleraye Sur Seine. Its the perfect spot to relax, take in the tranquil surroundings and enjoy the beauty of the French countryside.
