He remember Christine Higgins back in the past, he tries to kill her but he failed for the first time, in the beginning when Jason starts to chasing her and tries to kill her with a machete but he got distracted by one biker right behind him. Before he murder him, Chris attempt to kill Jason with an Axe on his head with Hockey Mask to wear. He bleeds out of his head attach with an Axe and fall down to death on the ground, she can finally escape from Crystal Lake Massacre out of her misery. Now, Ash is began to fight the killer Jason who wanted to kill him for no reason when he didn't kill his friends at all. That's how he starting to survived from the killers
