With four games played in this final round of qualification, Korea are first in Group B, three points clear of Jordan. There are a few Ulsan players in the squad, they'll be in good spirits after securing the K League 1 championship. Yes, that was secured on Friday thanks to a 2-1 win over Gangwon. Held in Japan, Mexico, and Taiwan from November 9th to the 24th, South Korea are in Group B with Cuba as well as Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and the Dominican Republic. The top two teams reach the next phase. Korea won the first Premier12 tournament in 2015 but lost to Japan in the final in 2019.
