I had never been inside the building before, so to be able to go up the very well worn steps, and into the tower was a great thing to do. I was taken up into the bell tower where the bells are housed. 13 of them in total, and one of the bells was rung to demonstrate. Luckily I had a pair of ear defenders to wear. I then had a chat with one of the bell ringers, Deborah Blumfield, who was able to give me a good over view of their craft.
