Hermes are being sued in California for how they sell the Birkin, with a lawsuit being lodged by 2 plaintiffs from California, and an anticipated class action for what they say is an alleged breach of antitrust law. Effectively, the plaintiff's are seeking to sue Hermes for what they say, is tying the opportunity to buy a Birkin to a sales history of buying other items, that you have to buy unrelated products from Hermes to be afforded the chance to purchase a Birkin, what is commonly known on social media as the pre spend.
