Sunlit top story: On a sunny May day, inspired by the warm rays and blooming flowers in the city park, I decided to create an airy summery top. I used an elegant yet simple lace stitch from my previous summer sweater, Halcyon, because it reminded me of how light filters through leaves, creating patterns on the ground. For the yarn, I opted for a 100% pure cotton in a warm Wheat shade, evocative of sultry August fields. The completed top exceeded my expectations, blending style and comfort perfectly. It's an ideal option for those who appreciate the stitch's beauty without the commitment of a full sweater. Sunlit is a poetic word for something illuminated by the sun, evoking natural beauty. ______________ Ravelry group.
