Speed Testing the Fastest Tamiya RTR RC Car! Lost My GPS & Complete FAIL!

Awesome new tires, new long range radio with dual rate & gyro and the fastest ready-to-run Tamiya RC Car ever made ... but this really could have gone better! Still, I'm never too proud to share my catastrophic failures! Here's one of them. Many more to come I'm sure. Keep 'em running. Keep smiling. The Dumbo X-6 2.4G Radio w/ gyro was kindly provided by Banggood: https://www.banggood.com/DumboRC-X6-2... The Louise ST-Rocket Street Tire/Wheel Set was kindly provided by EuroRC: https://www.eurorc.com/product/23724/... Happy Hobby Days and Keep 'em Running! See you soon! ---------------------- I really thought that my changes (firmer tires, radio w/ dual rate & gyro and some toe-in adjustments) to the Tamiya Super Levant Brushless XB - the fastest (electric) RTR Tamiya RC Car ever made - would make it possible to make it go straight and get it above 70 kph with a 2S LiPo. But it seems that every time it accelerates too fast or reaches 50-60 kph it becomes quite unstable and either spins immediately or makes it impossible to steer and correct with one or both front tires lifted above the ground. It seems if I ever want to try again I'll have to give up these narrow country side roads (and maybe secure the GPS just a little better). Well, at least the new items performed good and I managed a few decent straight runs but that was after my well-used SkyRC GPS disappeared into the long grass. After a very long search I had to give up. Already miss it. It has been with me for sooo many previous speed runs the last few years. So now you know why there won't be any more GPS speed tests on this channel ... at least for a while perhaps. Hmm, any recommendations for a new one?
