Hyola 401 (ICI) is no doubt an excellent and professional hybrid variety but owing to its Indian origin, its seed more probably will not be available in our market this year. Most of the hubrids donot perfom better in our environmental conditions. However, HC 022B and HC 021C of Kanzo group have determinate type of growth habit and have proven as the excellent hybrids during previous years. They have been imported in limited quantity for planting of 40 thousand acres in Pakistan and are available at subsidized rates but in limited quantity. Farmers should approach local offices of extension wing of agriculture for complete guidance.
