It is great if you have GCSE's or equivalent in English, Maths & Science and a degree but you don't necessarily need to have all of the above in 2020, especially with teacher shortages. State schools need a degree awarded a 2.2 or above however some private schools and academies which are currently on the rise do not require a degree.
