Puliyogare recipe | Temple style puliyogare powder and gojju recipe | ಪುಳಿಯೋಗರೆ ರೆಸಿಪಿ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ 😋 Simple recipe for Puliyogare, a popular South Indian dish Ingredients: For the Puliyogare gojju : 1 bowl tamarind paste 1/2 bowl jaggery powder 3 to 4 spoon sesame seeds 1/4 cup grated coconut 4 spoon jeera 1 spoon methi seeds 2 spoon mustard seeds 16 red chili 8 spoon Coriander seeds Hand full curry leaves 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida (hing) Salt, to taste 2 tablespoons oil Instructions: 1. Heat oil in a pan and roast all the below ingredients 1/2 bowl jaggery powder 3 to 4 spoon sesame seeds 1/4 cup grated coconut 4 spoon jeera 1 spoon methi seeds 2 spoon mustard seeds 16 red chili 8 spoon Coriander seeds Hand full curry leaves 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida (hing) 2. Grind the roasted mixture into a smooth powder. 3. In a pan, add oil mix the tamarind paste, jaggery powder, and salt. 4. Add the puliyogare powder to the pan and stir well cook for 15 to 20 minutes in medium flame. 5. Mix the Puliyogare gojju to cooked rice and add roasted sesame seeds, dry coconut . 6. Add oil to the pan for seasoning put mustard seeds, peanut, curry leaves and dry chilli, add to rice and mix well. Note: You can adjust the amount of chili powder to suit your desired level of spiciness. Additionally, you can store the Puliyogare paste in an airtight container for up to a month.
