European Adventure: From Hardenberg to Nostalgic Nordhorn !!

In this episode, we journey from Hardenberg to Nordhorn, a town in Germany that holds a special place in our hearts. This was our home for two years when we first got married and its filled with cherished memories. We park up at the local Stelplatz, a great spot for just 12 Euros a night, and head out to explore the town. Our trip takes us down memory lane, complete with a delicious Currywurst Lunch - Just as we remember it! Later, we hop on our E-Bikes and cycle along the scenic Nordhorn-Lingen Canal, revisiting the Nordhorn Air Weapons and Gunnery Range where Alun served with the RAF from 1987 - 1991. The day ends with a dramatic twist as a heavy thunderstorm rolls in, cancelling our plans for Aluns birthday celebration in town. The next day, the sun shines brightly as we are joined by our daughter and her family for a fun filled day to Nordhorn Zoo. Join us as we relive old memories and create new ones in the very special place.
