Hi guys! This story reflects my journey as I transitioned from Maryland to Virginia during my teenage years. Growing up in Maryland, I thrived in my community and church, ICC, which played a significant role in shaping my early understanding of faith. Moving to Virginia was challenging; I had to adapt to a new school and find a new church. Leaving ICC felt bittersweet, but I knew I needed to explore a deeper connection with God. In Virginia, I discovered a vibrant new church that welcomed me with open arms. I joined a youth group, where I formed lasting friendships and experienced God’s presence in meaningful ways. High school was filled with academic challenges and personal growth, and my faith became my foundation. A mission trip highlighted the importance of service and compassion, reinforcing my understanding of faith as a journey shared with others. As graduation approached, I reflected on how these experiences—moving, switching churches, and deepening my relationship with the Lord—had shaped me. I realized that faith thrives in community and that my journey is just beginning, filled with lessons of love and resilience.
