Hakata Station is the hub that connects Fukuoka with the rest of Japan. If you take your trip down to Fukuoka, you are sure to stop at Hakata Station! Tenjin is one of the most popular downtown areas in all of Kyushu. Throughout Tenjin, you can find brand name stores along with big appliance, department, and drug stores. In Tenjin, you will also find places of leisure. Tenjin has many parks that offer a place to take a break and enjoy the city atmosphere. You will see many people relaxing and enjoying their time outside! If you turn down an unexpected path or decide to take a small detour throughout your trip in Tenjin, you can also find pieces of Fukuoka's history. Hakata Station is also lively and always busy as it is the most visited train station in all of Kyushu. Hakata Station is used by over 122,000 passengers daily! The Tokaido, Sanyo, and Kyushu Shinkansen (bullet train) stops here.
