Today in my village, we prepared String Hoppers, also known as Indiappam. It is a traditional Sri Lankan and South Indian dish. We can buy string hoppers flour from the local market or prepare it at home using rice flour. The flour and water are mixed together and squeezed into a press to form thin noodles, which are then steamed for a few minutes before serving. String hoppers are easy to make. Today, we served string hoppers with a slightly spicy bolla fish (Bigeye Scad) curry, made using coconut milk. Villagers enjoyed their meal, and we hope you will enjoy this video too.
