#wilsonspromontory #greynomads #mountoberon #tidalrivercamp Wilsons Promontory the southernmost tip of mainland Australia that's where we are this week, Camped at Tidal River Campground such a great spot, we had Wombats all around our campgrounds, I am going to climb Mount Oberon, 6km return hike with a elevation of 340 m, should be a good hike, Wait till you see the views from the Mount Oberon Summit, Squeaky Beach is just stunning and I could have spent al day down on this beautiful beach, we also did the Darby River walk down to Darby Beach, we saw wombat's, emu's, kangaroo's, heaps of birds, ducks, and rosella's they are also very quite, so if your backpacking around Australia this would be a great campgrounds to see some of Australia's great animals. If your looking for a beach front campgrounds close to Melbourne this is it, you can also fish, do 3 day hikes, climb multiple mountains, and heaps of bush walks, would we go back you bet we would, We are Bec and Ed, from Aussie Nomad Destinations, we are traveling around Australia in our Jayco Silverline Caravan and Next Gen Ford Ranger, and we have been travelling now for two years.
