Aero GPX Demo - Expert Grand Prix (4K 60FPS)

This is my second time ever playing the demo and first time using this machine - don't expect excellent performance! But I'm happy with the last few tracks. As some of you may already know, I've always been a big fan of F-Zero, and we haven't had a game in over 19 years (!!!). Many indie developers tried to recreate the game, or claimed to, while failing to do so or instead making Wipeout clones where the handling is completely different. Thankfully, that changes now with Aero GPX, where I can confidently say that this is the closest experience to a modern F-Zero we've ever had since GX in 2003. There are no weapons here, no upgrades or anything, it's all you, the machine, the track and your skills. Of course, you can opt to destroy your opponent's machines as always. ;) The gameplay is a bit different to F-Zero though - boost and health bars are separate, kind of like the classic SNES game, but now you have to decide whether you want to charge up your health or booster. Caught me by surprise at the start, but after learning the tracks a bit you adapt quickly. There's also no way to change the stats of your machine unlike F-Zero where you can go from max velocity to acceleration - honestly I hope this changes in the future, as some machines may be great on certain tracks but be pretty lacking on others. I'm not going to judge this too quickly though, as I mentioned earlier this recording is from just my second time playing, with 15 minutes of experience and first time using a sliding machine.
