APD provide public safety updates for multiple investigations throughout the city of Albany. Albany Police have arrested 26-year-old Jonte Wunner for shooting and killing 49-year-old Mohammed Poquee. Poquee was found with multiple gunshot wounds on October 20th in a building on 260 North Pearl Street. Wunner was arrested by Albany Police Monday, and charged with murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Wunner was also in possession of a loaded handgun that was reported stolen at the time of his arrest. The October 20th shooting was one of many that weekend in the City of Albany.
