Commission on Creating Healthy Cities: A Call For Evidence

We need your help to make our cities “healthier” for the communities who live in them. The Commission on Creating Healthy Cities is calling for your evidence on the problems and the solutions to the challenges faced by our urban spaces. Where possible you should demonstrate the cost benefits of any interventions. Although the commission is most interested in input from academic research, we would also welcome contributions based on the experiences of practitioners and citizens (users of services). The Commission is a part of the Global Centre for Healthcare and Urbanisation, which is a joint venture between Kellogg College, University of Oxford, and The Prince’s Foundation. The findings will be published in 2022, providing resources that may assist city leaders and citizens in achieving clear goals. A “call for evidence” webpage sets out some overarching questions and some more detailed evidence-based questions. The commission would appreciate responses to any or all of these questions, but we also welcome input on any other matter relating to our theme of creating healthy cities.
