Essentially, Lucci was charged with murder following a shoot-out in which his friend was killed. While in jail, Lucci was reportedly stabbed but refused to testify against Young Thug. This refusal was notable, given he was in custody with multiple YSL members and did not feel safe. However, during the trial, the discovery of the prosecuting team's failure to disclose all evidence within a certain timeframe led to deals being made, including Lucci being sentenced as a first-time offender, despite the serious crime involved. Now, he is facing three years with credit for time already served.
