Let's Play Students achieve Guinness World Record for Largest Rondalla Ensemble - Full Performance

On the 28th of June 2024, 554 students from 18 Let's Play schools gathered in Mandaue, Cebu and set the Guinnness World Record for the largest rondalla ensemble. This video perfectly captures the atmosphere and excitement of the day. The event took 12 months to plan and required an enormous amount of work and coordination from DepEd leaders, LGUs, sponsors & partners, family members, trainers and not least the students. Thank you all for the effort - you are officially amazing! About Let's Play Let's Play donates instruments to public schools in the Philippines so that children have the opportunity to learn how to play music. We collaborate with the Department of Education to help select participating schools. 100% of donations go towards instruments and they are sourced from local guitar makers in Cebu.
