Music on the Bruce is a Summer Concert Series with classical music concerts held in Bruce Peninsula Communities. Sarah Pratt-Parsamian, founder and Artistic Director of Music on the Bruce, has been bringing classical music to the Bruce Peninsula since the summer of 2021. Miniatures, op. 75a by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak (1841-1904) Cavatina Capriccio Romance Elegie String Trio: Sarah Pratt-Parsamian, violin Shane Kim, violin Caitlin Boyle, viola Performed at the Red Bay Community Church concert in Red Bay, Ontario on August 19, 2023. Some brief background info on these world class musicians who are generously bringing their talents to the Bruce: 🔸Sarah Pratt-Parsamian, originally from Listowel, Ontario, performs as a violinist with the New York City Ballet, and as a substitute with the Metropolitan Opera and New York Philharmonic. 🔸Shane Kim, Toronto born violinist, has been a member of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra since 2012. He is also a founding member of the XIA String Quartet. 🔸Caitlin Boyle, a member of the award-winning Cecilia String Quartet for over a decade, is currently the violist of the Cecilia String Quartet, and a member of the Niagara Symphony Orchestra.
