Also on sale is Buckfast Abbey fudge, hand-made in the monastery kitchens. Visitors can enjoy the extensive grounds – including The Sensory, Physic and award-winning Millennium Gardens. A highlight during the summer months is The Lavender Garden, boasting 50 varieties of this soothing and colourful plant. Buckfast Abbey Church is open from 7.45am to 8.20pm (7pm on Saturday), the gardens and shops are open 10am to 4.30pm daily (Grange Restaurant at 5pm); on Sundays shops open 11.30am to 4.30pm.
