You'll encounter lush alpine meadows adorned with colorful wildflowers, ancient forests of towering Douglas firs and hemlocks, and the mesmerizing sights of glaciers and snow-capped peaks. Challenging Terrain: The trail presents a mix of terrains and elevations, offering both a physical challenge and a chance to test your hiking skills. Steep ascents and descents, rocky sections, and river crossings require a moderate to high level of fitness and hiking experience. Old-Growth Forests: As you trek through the wilderness, you'll find yourself surrounded by old-growth forests, some of which are hundreds of years old.
