JOTADHARI Official video of ESP

The song 'Jotadhari' by 'Eastern Soul Players' (ESP) is based on the tune of folk-songs or Lokogeet. It is not actually a Lokogeet, but in respect of the lyrics, tune and the mood, the song which deals with a myth tends to approach what is called Lokogeet. Jotadhari is all about Lord Shiva. The song is all about how Lord Shiva reacts after having the intoxication of cannabis. Being intoxicant, Shiva dance playing the Dambru and Mother Parvati could not stop her laughter. Being intoxicated, Lord removes put ashes on his body. Lord Shiva – The power, the dissolving force in life that represents the energies necessary for life on both the microcosmic and the macrocosmic levels is believed to be at the core of the centrifugal force of the universe and is the supreme ascetic with a passive and composed disposition. In spite of being within a very complicated deity, the Lord of the Lords taps his feet to the rhytm of the ‘Domboru’ & ‘Dogor’.
