Dip netting on the Copper River has become an annual adventure that never disappoints. Each year is different and present its own unique challenges. This year's challenge seemed to be finding a place that would produce fish. I checked at least ten different places before I found a location that consistently provided fish. There were two other dip netters, just 20 yards from me, that only caught one fish during my 2 hour melee. I would say fickle was the one word that summed up this trip. Anyway, come along for a fantastic trip dip netting sockeye salmon, and king salmon, on the copper river.
