The White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, meanwhile, offers what is considered to be one of the greatest train trips around. The Red Onion Saloon was once a functioning brothel during the Klondike Gold Rush. Nowadays, it’s a nice little restaurant and bar, though there’s a museum upstairs paying tribute to the building’s former use. Finally, the Chilkoot Trail is 33 miles long and lined with awesome scenery and some more historical remnants from the Klondike Gold Rush.
