New Sellers Add Amazing Old Stuff to Antique Vintage Show!

Last year, I was shopper and spectator...this year, I'm shopping and selling! Spokane's venerable Custer's Antique Show draws a bevy of MCM afficionados, decorators of Victorian and Craftsman homes, and serious collectors of everything from elegant antique glass and hot swung vases to farmhouse primitives, old cowboy/cowgirl regalia, beer signs and porcelain pretties! We peruse all the collecting possibilities in this fine show, picking up a few plums (including ad placards and still banks) as we show the dealers from front to back. I'm selling with our friends from the chat Corene Jones and Miss Wildlife for the first time, and we're trading stories and merchandise as we handle the onslaught of collectors to our giant booth! We spend a few moments on our space, then go meet some fun new-to-the-show resellers (including our chat friend Sassy Glass and her family) to see how it's going! A lot of real quality comes to this show...cameo glass from Daum Nancy and Baccarat, unusual ceramics from Weller Pottery and Lladro, even a Stickley arts-and-crafts desk! We have fun showing Spokane's transformation through the collectible remnants of the Expo '74 World's Fair that was held here, see some huge collections of lanterns and banks, discover a 1970s-2000s era toy dealer, find a saddle used in the Japo-Russian War and look at amazement at a solid wood 1950s desk priced at just $75!
