The immortal love of Muna and Madan is depicted in this poem. From this work, a person should be big in heart and not only in caste, and if not in everything, karma will be seen. It also portrays the pain they endure due to poverty. Due to poverty, Madan is forced to die. After Moth leaves, he contracts cholera, and his friends abandon him. A stranger takes him in and nurses him back to health. When Madan finally returns home, neither his mother nor Muna is there. Now that he has no one, what will he do with the money he earned? Such a poignant tragic story is depicted in it.
