The Aspire was offered as a 2 door coupe and it was also available in 5 door configuration 4 doors and a hatchback. The Aspire was longer and wider than the Festiva it replaced and it was powered by the Mazda designed 1.3 liter fuel injected inline 4 cylinder. By all reports it was reliable, got great gas mileage and yet people in the US Market wouldn’t buy it. I’m not sure why this is but it is.
