Gran Torino: The Hmong Cast (Meeting "Grandma" for the 1st time)

It's been over a decade since the release of Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino. During production, I served as a Hmong Cultural Consultant on the film and one day decided to documented much of the Hmong actors' journey and time off set. A portion of the footage was edited into the the documentary, "Gran Torino: Next Door" which was included as a special feature on the Blu Ray release of the film. With hours of unused footage remaining on my hard drive, I decided to release it on Youtube bit by bit. See the never before seen footage and interviews of the Hmong cast's experience while filming in Detroit, Michigan during the summer of 2008. Cast includes Bee Vang, Ahney Her, Jerry Lee, Elvis Thao, Doua Moua, Sunny Vue and more.
