Lakeland 100 - Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things

Every year in the Lake District, thousands of people gather to cheer on one of the UK’s biggest Ultra Trail Races, where runners take part in one of two epic events, and aim to complete either a 50 or a 105 mile course. The weekend brings people from across the country and around the world together in a demonstration of determination, commitment, and resilience, where participants run through the night and over some of the most spectacular terrain in the country to push their limits in what many would call the greatest physical challenge of their lives. We take a look at the Montane Lakeland 50 & 100, and what it means to compete in this purely epic event.
