This video tests the PS5's internal SSD against a 1TB Crucial P5 Plus SSD in the PS5's storage expansion bay with an SSD heatsink and the bay cover attached (the cover is needed for the negative pressure cooling to be affective). Three tests were done for each game on both, the times for each of these tests are in the description. Due to how the timer is implemented it can be inaccurate by 0.01 of a second. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart had one test done for each because I did a frame rate analysis. This is because the SSD is pulling so much data it causes a frame drop or two during portal jumps.
